1) Does it ever wear you out, being so cool all the time?
2) What exactly led you to working at Cheshire Lane? (I don't think it was the clothes.)
3) You're a bit more of a party girl, so I expect a better answer when I ask have you ever tried illicit substances?
4) Ever thought of making your hair a different color?
5) Any idea where I can pick up some clothes like yours? Tamaraneans know where it's at.
My answers:
1. My capacity for coolness is almost limitless.
2. Honestly, I just wanted a job. I didn't really care where I got the job as long as the manager wasn't some micro-managing jerk.
3. Yes. But not on Earth.
4. (answer locked to Terra) Tried to dye my hair red once so that I'd look more like a normal Tamaranean. It failed miserably and was just a total gloopy mess.(/locked to Terra)
5. Aside from on Tamaran? You could probably get someone to custom-make you something.
Greed man_of_means asked me these:

2. Wanna' go out sometime?
3. Did you make up with Star, yet?
4. What's food like on Tamaran?
5. How's things goin' for you right now?
My replies:
1. Wow, you don't waste any time, do you? 36-28-37. Or at least last time I checked, and I still fit into the same clothing, so that's probably about accurate.
2. Sure! You seem like you'd be a fun date. Terra and I will probably stop by your bar sometime in the near future for drinks and dancing, too.
3. ...no. It's not really something I'm looking to do. I'm leaving her alone and she's leaving me alone and I like it that way. When Terra tried to have us meet and talk things out, it didn't go so well.
4. It's very...different looking than food on Earth. Some of it looks like jello, and some of it resembles stew, only it tends to be purple, blue, red, and other colors traditionally not found in Earth food unless it's berries or candy.
5. Things have been kind of dull. I've been prize fighting and doing pretty well with that, but otherwise, nothing terribly exciting has happened.

Soooo, I have one very heavy package to deliver, but otherwise I don't know what kinds of gifts anybody wants. I'm feeling generous this year, so aside from thinking about hosting a big holiday bash...I'm getting friends and friendly acquaintances presents.

I never thought I'd waste my time writing out a journal entry for anything but an announcement to my friends, but I've got a lot on my mind, and can't really talk to anyone about a lot of it.
Starfire. After everything that happened between us, she's still trying to be sisters again. One part of me can't forgive her for banishing me. The other part of me wishes that things were like when we were kids, when I was the strong big sister who always protected her.
I know I've changed a lot. I'm stronger, and I've fought my way through things that a lot of people wouldn't live through. But that's not everything that's changed. I've got a soft spot for little misfit kids that I never let myself have before. I guess it's because those little misfits remind me of myself, before I was strong.
I'm not really ashamed of this soft spot, even if it's something I don't want to talk about to Terra, Duela, Jeannie, or anyone else. A good leader is capable of being both harsh and compassionate. That's what I intend on becoming. A good leader.
One day, I'm going to rule Tamaran, with both an iron fist, and a queen's heart. I won't accept insubordination, but I also won't accept anyone trying to enslave Tamaran, ever again. That's a promise, even if right now, that promise is only to myself.

We need to finish the elemental plot. Even if I write it as a fic just to get it finished with. I don't mind doing just that, but there's a lot of characters who are plot locked until it is done, and people are getting frustrated.
Comment here and leave your email address if you're interested in resolving the plot that way. Email is likely a faster method than trying to get us all into a chat together at the same time.

In case anyone was curious, I'm going to be gone for the next couple of days. I've got two days in a row off from work, can fly, and my roommate's motorcycle is suped up enough to keep up with me...so we're going on a nice trip. Fun in the sun, and I get to check out a place I've never been to before.
I've always enjoyed travelling, and observing other cultures, and that's one thing earth has a huge variety of. Most planets have less than ten distinct cultures and languages, from my experience. Terra, Duela, Jeannie...I'll bring you all back something dorky and souvenirish from my trip. Heck, I'll bring one for anyone who manages to comment on this entry before I leave.

Well, news certainly travels fast on the nexus. That friend of my sister's, Raven, is dead. It's not something I really care about - after all, the only positive time I ever spent with her was at a poetry reading a long, long time ago, when I first met the rest of the Titans. But it's still shocking.
Perhaps when they have a grave site for her, I'll stop by once to pay my respects to the recently deceased. When nobody's there, of course. We were never friends, but she was admirably capable. Besides, it's Tamaranean tradition to show respect to dead warriors, regardless if whether they were on your side or not. If I'm going to ever rule Tamaran, I will have to lead by example.
